Did you all receive the letter from school?
It states that "CCAs will be scaled down during the first week after school reopens in order to minimise congregation of school staff and students."

Let's see if training will resume on the second week.

Note that there will be NO transport arrangement as you all will collect the donations only at areas near school.

And also, Attendance is COMPULSORY cause you will get CIP hours.

Only sec 1/2 are to go for this flag day.
So we will not be there.
That's why I'm posting it up to remind you girls :)

Oh yes, and you all also have donation card to settle.
The one we normally do, remember?

Friendly Captain Ball Friendly Match

I had mentioned in last post regarding this event. And just now i had briefed those who attend training. So tomorrow :
1) Meet in concourse at 2.30 as the match start at 3pm, please be punctual.
2) Read the rules in the below post so that u all have the raft idea.
3) Please wear PE attire but if urs are washed, use bball tee.

anw, i got a set of rules for the friendly captain ball match which fall on coming tuesday.

Captain’s Ball Friendly Match

· B + C division game
· Total number of players each team (not limited)
· 7 players from each team each game
· 4 quarters game (ea game 10mins)
· 1 goal - 1 point.

Scorer (2)
Time Keeper (1)
Referee (2)

RULES
· only allowed to shoot a goal in own semi-circle
· Holding on the ball not more then 3 seconds
· NO snatching/hitting ball away from opponent team
· 3 feet away before raising hands to block (1 meter away)
· At least 5 passes before goal
· After each goal, start the ball at the goal line (semi circle line)
· NO Walking/Running with the ball. (Most 2 steps)

I think u all will be stunned. Haha. If u find some rules are not really fair, tag ! or text me! We will discuss about it again on monday training.

Okay people.

Please be reminded that coach will not be coming for training on Monday.
BUT, we will have self-training.
Hmmm is that alright with you people?

If majority cannot make it for the training,
we will cancel it.
Well it's self- training, so up to everybody to decide :)

You guys did very well during training.
Except for the shooting under the net.
Gonna practise harder for that.

I'm not sure if I can say this.
But I really hope the Sec 1s to dare-to-play.

For some, your lay-ups are good.
For some, your shootings are good.
Different people have different strength.
But never neglect your weaknesses ok.
Overcome it and you will have another strength.

I know some of you tried during training.
Which is great.
Believe me, you can do even better.

Siti -
Coach told us that you really have the potential to do better. All you have to do is to be more serious in your workouts during training. All of us, (okay at least me), believe that you can actually do very well for your shootings and lay-ups. Just put your heart in it.

ShuMei -
You are doing good all along, especially your lay-ups. You got it right :)

Cindy -
Hmmm you must gan gan shoot. I'm not sure if you are feared of getting hit by balls. When you shoot, dare to aim higher and put in more strength. You are getting there already, train for muscles. Hohoho. Just kidding.

Joey -
Your shootings under the net, I can say it is great. As for your lay-ups, try to aim the "white" box.

I hope I didn't offend anybody.

Hey, people, let me tell you if you guys dont turn up for training please give a mc, not you happy come not happy dont come, i know although i sometimes never come also, i'm sorry. But, please do come, i'm tired of this already. If you people continue doing this, i dont give a damn, the most next year no more tournaments, i dont mind. and, do you know that our attendance is like, so suck? If Mr Tan see our attendance, most probably this cca will be cancled already. I'm trying my very best to warned all of you le, very tired of this liao. so.. please.. If you people want this cca to continue then turn up. Yesterday only one person turn up, the rest say will turn up, last min back out. then i tio scolded..

You people how old already, i bet i dont have to warned you people over and over again. if you dont come, you tell me. i can just inform Tan JJ, asking him to cancle this cca, what for open a cca with 1 or 2 people coming only? no point isnt it? FLAG DAY...
This Saturday, 1 November and next Saturday, 8 November.
Don't forget to attend and if I'm not wrong, we will get CIP hours/points :)

Basketball Schedule has been given to you.
Please attend for all unless with valid reasons.
We have to get ready for tournaments next year (if possible).

Ok, there will be a basketball match next Wednesday, 5 November.
It will be at Singapore Indoor Stadium and definitely, $$$$$.
But don't worry, it's not that expensive and better still if coach has extra tickets. xD

The prices are $6, $12 and $16.
Of course, the more expensive it is, the closer you will be sitting near the court.
And just for more information...

The match:
SLINGERS VS MALAYSIANS.

SLINGERS has a lot of hunks man!
LOL! Watch it or you will regret. x)
Most of them are caucasians and after the match, you can approach to them.

That is my experience for the previous one.
They are really cool!

Today a group of us went to the shop and discussed with the uncle. And he offered a freaking lower price, $17.

Seniors have to pay $18.
Current team has to pay $20.

Addition money exclude the amount for the tee will be added into the fund.

PLEASE BRING YOUR CASH BY THIS COMING THURSDAY!
We need to pay at least 50% of the total amount before we can order the tee.
So please remember to bring!

Those who do not pay on time, we will have to count you out.

So girls, REMEMBER TO BRING!

And Friday is Cross-country! Let's all achieve a medal :D

Hello once again.

Sorry to write 3 posts today instead of putting all into just one post.
Anyway, please read the main two topic about the tee as well as this post.

3 ON 3 MATCH @ MI ON 15 AUGUST!
If you are interested, please form a team of THREE (:
Each team will have to pay $10 to participate!
Any other info, you can approach to Alvina or me or anybody else.

Since 15 August is a Friday, and there is training on Friday, we were thinking whether the whole team should join the competition and also, coach can tag along to watch. Further discussion on Monday debrief ok? :)

Please confirm with us (and we will confirm with Ammelia) by 1 August 2008.

I hope you girls like this blogskin. I just find it rather cool, but also kind of tedious.

Anyway, as for the basketball tee...
PLEASE TAKE NOTE!

I've checked out the price for basketball tee at JP. (The one next to Kopitiam)
The basketball tee cost $17.50 and for those who do not know yet, the basketball tee design is changed after discussing with the team. And if necessary, please tag to request for a overall view of the tee.

For those who are still in JVS, please kindly bring along $20 and pass it to Alvina asap by next Thursday. (Xcountry is on Friday) The remaining $2.50 will be added into the fund so that we can save up a certain amount of money to organise chalet this year end.

And today's dinner is postponed to September holiday...

Remember to attend ALL trainings!
